Great presentations yesterday from this year’s Master of Designers, outlining their Masters Projects.

The students have spent the last few weeks talking to experts from Professors of Clinical Immunology to Cancer Care Specialists to Entrepeneurs. They’ve been reading, drawing and were introduced to mindfulness practice and  guided meditation  with Buddhist monk Karma Jiga and PhD candidate Kumanga Andrahennadi from the Nilupul Centre in Dundee. Yesterday’s presentations demonstrated how open and reflective the students have become, whilst maintaining focus and creativity. We’ll upload their finished presentations at the end of the module. The mindfulness practice has been key in navigating through complexity and viewing being ‘lost’ as a a positive stage of the design process.
