Set up an individual blog to capture and share research and development work. Get one of your peers to give you feedback on the blog content and layout as though they were an industry client directed to it via an introductory e.mail. You can see examples of last year’s student’s blogs in the sidebar.

Weeks 2 and 3

In pairs, interview your experts and produce a short video (less than 3 minutes) that captures your three most important takeaways. Tips on interviewing here 

Identify 10 pieces of writing and 10 analagous pieces of work (projects, initiatives etc.) that someone working in your area should be interested in and knowledgable about. Summarise these on your blog.

Create a stakeholder map

produce several personas and journey maps for your project

Consider what other methods you may use to carry out the project

Check blog documentation is up to date 

Create a prototype presentation (keynote/powerpoint etc) for assessment that explains your project and progress and addresses the assessment criteria.

Synthesise your research, share on your blog and prepare presentation
